Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge and celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Huron – Wendat peoples on whose ancient and sacred land we live, work and play. We recognize the ever-present systemic inequities that stem from past wrongdoing, and we commit ourselves to better understanding and respecting this history of injustice and to the process of reconciliation.
